L’enjeu de ce colloque, organisé par les universités Paris Nanterre et Rouen Normandie, était d’aborder le collectionneur et sa collection en lien avec son époque et son contexte politique, social et économique, et ce à une échelle internationale.
Du 9 au 13 novembre 2020, les interventions, keynotes et tables-rondes ont abordé les grands moments de vie d’une collection – constitution, gestion, diffusion et transmission, selon des approches pluridisciplinaires et multi-scalaires originales.

Going beyond a purely monographic approach
The goal of this symposium, organized by the Paris Nanterre and Rouen Normandy universities, was to focus on the collector and his collection in the context of his time and the political, social and economic environment, and to do so on an international scale.
From November 9 to 13, the speeches, keynotes and panel discussions have addressed highlights in the life of a collection – acquisition, management, presentation and transmission, using original multidisciplinary approaches on a variety of scales. To view the program, please click here
